About Surah Yaseen
Surah Yaseen is part of the Muslims Around the World network, a family of Islamic websites.
Why a site for Surah Yaseen
surahyaseenquran.com gives Surah Yaseen a home of its own: all 83 verses in a reader you can set to the Arabic alone, or with English and a transliteration; a page for each verse, to read large, copy or share; and short notes on what it is about, each with its source.
One lasting gift is water: build a water well and see it finished.
Who runs it
Surah Yaseen is made by Muslims Around the World. Each site in the family does one job and tries to do it well: a city's prayer times, a Ramadan timetable, a surah, a dua. Every one of them is listed on the Muslims Around the World sites page.
Muslims Around the World is protecting the legacy of Ali Banat, may Allah have mercy on him, and every site in the family is part of that work. Read his story.
You can learn more with us at Muslims Around the World: short reminders from scholars, duas with their meaning, Quran recitations and prayer times.

Where the text comes from
- The Arabic
- The King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex mushaf (Hafs from ‘Asim), in its Uthmani Hafs encoding as Quran.com publishes it, shown in the KFGQPC Hafs font. It is the same text muslimsaroundtheworld.org shows, copied unchanged, and every verse is checked against it letter for letter before a page is published.
- The English translation
- Saheeh International, © Saheeh International, as published by Quran.com and shown on muslimsaroundtheworld.org. It is a translation of the meaning: only the Arabic is the Quran.
- Facts about each surah
- The number of verses, where the surah was revealed, its pages in the mushaf and its place in the order of revelation come from the same Quran.com data.
- Transliteration
- Quran.com’s word-by-word transliteration, joined into each verse.
How every line is checked
Before a page is published, an automatic review compares every verse and every dua on it with the source files above, letter for letter: the Arabic, the English and the transliteration must be exactly the source's, and each dua and hadith must carry its reference. If one letter differs, the page is held back until it is put right. Explanations we write ourselves name their source in the same paragraph, and we don't give rulings in our own words.
If you spot a mistake, please tell us through muslimsaroundtheworld.org.
